This canvas board was first covered with gold leaf. Oil paint was applied on to this surface to achieve this gorgeous glowing sunset.
This is inspired by my years spent living in the beautiful British Virgin Islands where there was always an island silhouette in the sunset. I hope it evokes feelings of being somewhere exotic for you.
