An evocative sunset painting in oils on imitation goldleaf, capturing the glow and drama of tropical light.
The wooden panel was first covered in gold leaf, then overlaid with rich layers of oil paint to achieve this luminous, glowing sunset.
Inspired by the artist’s years living in the British Virgin Islands, Tortola Sunset No.2 brings warmth and reflection to any space. A silhouetted island against a radiant sky stirs memories of tropical evenings and faraway places.
