- This wooden board was first covered with imitation gold leaf. Oil paint was applied on to this surface to achieve this gorgeous glowing sunset.
- This is inspired by my years spent living in the beautiful British Virgin Islands where there was always an island silhouette in the sunset. I hope it evokes feelings and memories of being somewhere exotic.
- This painting is UNFRAMED - these images of mockups to provide inspiration.

These artworks were created whilst I was taking part in a weekly Art Challenge called "The Golden Thread" - the theme was Tokyo Story. Originals are 5" x 7" and painted in gouache.
